Legal Counsel

Support the Head of Legal for the Americas region in the general handling of demand for Legal

support of legal, contract and commercial matters, acting as a generalist working on various

Legal disciplines

Responsabilidades e atribuições

· Drafting, reviewing and facilitating negotiations on commercial contracts and

agreements

· Advising legal matters with other departments / disciplines

· Liaising with and instruct external counsel

· Advising on bid or tender process, drafting and reviewing of tender

documentation and associated documentation

· Negotiating agreements with clients and business partners

· Negotiating subcontracts, frame agreements with potential subcontractors and

vendors

· Liaising with financial institutions (such as banks) for

bid bonds or securing the requisite performance bank guarantees for the projects

· Offering counsel on a variety of legal issues

· Advising on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with

different deals

· Providing training to the company on legal topics

· Support Yinson’s Data Privacy and compliance matters

Requisitos e qualificações

Qualifications:

Essential:

– Fluency in Portuguese and English

– 8-10 year Law Degree from top universities (UERJ, UFRJ, UFF, Unirio, PUC)

– Registered at the Bar of Association (OAB)

Desirable

– Knowledge of, or training or experience in Common Law

– Fluency in Spanish
