What you’ll do This management level position has overall responsibility for the delivery of SAS’ Managed Application Services within LATAM region. The Managed Application Services team is a global delivery team that is tightly matrixed with other regional service delivery Centers of Excellence and global resource hubs. This position will work with the other global leaders to ensure the consistency of the overall customer delivery. The daily activities of this team include SAS Enterprise software deployment and upgrades, configuration and integration, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery and routine update of services. In addition to the day-to-day operational management of the team, this role will interface with local and global leadership and act as a regional escalation point for Managed Application Services. Lead a regional team of Technical Account Managers, Project Managers, Technical Architects, Systems Administrators, and Hosting Engineers Active member of the Managed Application Services leadership team Works with the global leadership team to establish strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Services throughout the enterprise ensuring all aspects of the service delivery and cost curves are closely managed Drives the adoption Managed Application Services within the LATAM region What we’re looking for Ability to clearly communicate in English, Portuguese and Spanish 5 years’ or more of commercial, customer-facing, and technology focused service delivery 5 years’ experience with demonstrated success in operating mission-critical enterprise software services Experience leading global enterprise-wide infrastructure projects/programs with multiple interfaces and/or 3rd parties The nice to haves SAS Software Experience Experience supporting; DevOps automation teams using tools such as Jenkins, Opentack, and Kubernetes 3rd party Cloud and CDN Provider Experience: AWS, Azure, and GCP Standard Infrastructure Experience: Monitoring, DNS, DHCP, Backups, and Disaster Recovery Experience launching new services Why SAS We love living the SASlife and believe that happy, healthy people have a passion for life, and bring that energy to work.
