GET TO KNOW OUR AREAThe area is responsible for steering the financial performance of the Crop Science Division in Brazil, with a large and diverse group of people in the country. It’s part of the regional Finance team and a key partner with both Brazil’s country division and the local finance corporate team.YOUR MISSION WILL BE TODo you know the best ways to delivering on financial targets by providing a reliable financial steering (alignment operational/financial planning, target setting, resource allocation, deviation analysis and mitigation plans, credit and financing management)?In this opportunity, you would take care of it, including:Reporting to the Latin America Head of Finance for the Division and primary point of contact for financial performance steering to the Division Head of the Country Cluster.Active member of the LATAM Finance Leadership Team and of the Country Divisional Management team, being a clear interface to local Functions Management teams.Controlling Business Partner regarding financial management of strategic & operational business (explicitly field sales, key account, local licensing, customer marketing), esp. with regard to planning, forecasting, commercial strategies, financial performance management.Closely partners with the Division Head of the Country Cluster and his/her leadership team to ensure financial performance according to targets and driving strategic and operational agenda.Leads the team of Finance BPs in countries and sets clear standards how the business is to be steered and how to best support managers in all areas in sound decision-making.Leads the Credit and Barter teams in the country and is responsible for working with the region on the credit and customer finance strategy for the country.Acts as a sparring partner by providing insights and challenging the organization through benchmarks, trend analysis, as well as external evaluations.Identifies, pursues, manages business risks and opportunities.Enables effective financial business steering and resource allocation in line with strategic objectives and provides basis for planning and decision making.ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?Master degree in economics, finance (differential).Fluent in English (mandatory).
