The General Manager will lead and be accountable for overseeing all operations in Brazil and Latin America including the following primary accountabilities: Sales execution, Marketing execution, Channel mgmt., Market expansion, Customer service, P&L, HR, Finance, and local shipping and receiving. He/she will Direct the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and operational goals within Brazil and Latin America in support of the company?s overall financial and strategic objectives. He/she will establish budgets, short- and long-range objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success and will administer the organization?s policies through subordinate managers and directs and coordinate activities all departments. GM will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient local operation of the Brazil/LAAM business, and will have responsibility for all functional aspects of the Brazil/LAAM business through matrix reporting. The General Manager will serve as a member of the Americas Staff and work closely with the VP Americas to support company initiatives and to develop and implement strategic direction. We are looking for a candidate who will have the runway to be a successor for VP Americas. Core Responsibilities:Drive profitable revenue growth in Brazil and Latin America Lead cross functional staff in Brazil including Sales, Channel Mgmt, MKTG, Operations, Finance, HR Lead creation and attainment of monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting Drive continued talent development of Brazil/LAAM team Drive refinements in market approach including GTM changes, product strategy, operation refinement Build local strategy for Brazil/LAAM to drive continued aggressive growth Responsible for P&L and annual Operating Margin Expansion in Brazil and LAAM Experience:Bachelor?s and MBA degree with a concentration in a technical field preferred and 10 years\’ experience in Sales and Business mgmt. Experience managing results in matrixed business structure including distributed sales forces / teams / structures. Experience building new markets. Understanding of business financial analysis. Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong Leadership skills. Ability to develop strategies and deploy action to support. This person should also be creative, objective and possess a high level of integrity. Other Qualifications:Frequent travel 30%.
