The Associate Director Oil and Gas will be responsible for the Strategy, Direction, Leadership and Commercial Success of the Company Brazil Oil and Gas Business. The ultimate goal of the position is to grow a sCompanytantial business year on year providing Project Services, within the NR sector in Brazil.

O&G strategy and planning – 3 year horizon from regional and global plans

Market intelligence

Opportunity identification

Relationship building

Conversion approach

Lead bids

Conversion, delivery and or assurance

Branding campaigns

Delivery until practice to scale at 15 staff

Support interactions locally and globally are with Latam Regional MD, Brazil MD, NR Latam lead Business Generation Brazil, Global and Regional O and G Key account managers

Establish networks with major influencers and decision makers

Given the nature, timing and maturity of opportunity, identify the services approach discussed and supporting this the brand, relationship, experience, commercial approach

Manage Sales process from lead to conversion

Convert opportunities through management of bid process including global bids

Participate in commercial bids and agree with Brazil Country manager pricing strategy

Manage with the Financial Director the Brazil sector P&L and report on improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Key

Skills & Experience

Minimum of 10 years working with Owners/Operators/contractors/consultants

Engineering Degree/ Business degree (Previous experience in specific position or area of expertise)

Languages Fluent Portuguese, Fluent English and desirable, Spanish.

Staff management experience

Business generation skills

Cost and commercial or project controls technical experience

O&G industry experience

Key account management
