Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

20 years of relevant work experience in marketing, including leading geographically dispersed Marketing teams and budgets across multiple product areas and countries concurrently.

Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish or Portuguese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience managing, negotiating, and collaborating with outside creative agencies, partners and third-party vendors.

Digital and traditional creative and media experience. Experience running large campaigns for consumer products as well as B2B Marketing.

Proven track record in shaping well-known established brand and user experiences through actionable insights and recommendations.

Ability to influence audiences at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies. Ability to build bridges with peers and organizations beyond their own.

Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, action plans, and campaigns.

About the job

As VP of Marketing, you will run all marketing of Google products in Latin America and will be a critical member of the Brazil and Spanish speaking Latin America Leadership teams. You’ll work with a cross-functional team across Google Product, Government Affairs and Public Policy, Sales, Communications and the Next Billion Users (NBU) team and work directly with each product area Marketing Lead at Google.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop a team of highly and ambitious marketers that handle all of Google’s marketing efforts in the region, and foster a culture that supports people who take well-reasoned risks.

Drive Googles growth throughout Latin America through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns driven by key user insights.

Ensure the voice of the user is consistently heard and incorporated into the thinking of brand and creative concepts at the highest levels.

Lead the development of Googles marketing plans and bring Google’s products to life for consumer, advertiser and publisher products in Latin America.

Partner effectively and influence across cross- functional teams to deliver exceptional brand/product experiences
