We are a fully remote company looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us automate, secure, and scale our infrastructure. If you’re passionate about infrastructure such as code, automation, and scalable systems, and you thrive in a remote environment, this role is for you!
You’ll work closely with our architects, CTO, and cross-functional engineering teams to build robust and secure solutions. We’re looking for someone who will grow with us and impact our products long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Helm.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
- Set up monitoring and logging for real-time system insights using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Design and implement infrastructure for data lakes and ETL pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure system integrity and security.
- Contribute to security best practices, including incident response and disaster recovery planning, and also implement advanced security measures, including IAM policies, VPC design, and encryption.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience managing and maintaining scalable Linux-based environments.
- Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform / Terragrunt.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong database experience, especially with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or Golang applications.
- Knowledge of serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Serverless).
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Familiarity with data lake solutions and ETL pipelines.
